the Henderson
Group
provides consulting and training to information security
staff and information technology auditors. In particular, we offer RACF training, and training in how to audit mainframe computers with z/OS.
We also provide free newsletters, articles, user group support, and
links to other useful sites.
New Book "Mainframe Basics for Security Professionals: Getting Started with RACF"
is now available form IBM press. It provides a good overview of a variety of mainframe and RACF topics. Written by Mark Nelson, Ori Pomerantz, Barbara Vander Weele, and Tim Hahn, this book covers JCL, USS, Userid Administration and Groups, Protecting Data and Resources, Logging, Auditing, Delegation of Authority, and Enterprise-Wide Security. Bring your copy to the next NYRUG meeting and Mark will autograph for you.
